Странное дело, но часто при запуске просто выпадает из программы.

Не очень хорошо, когда убирают функционал, который был куплен ранее в платной версии и с обновлениями вынесенный в расширения, которые нужно снова купить. Это минус. Нельзя убирать функционал в платных приложениях.

Останавливается при звонке и возобновляет запись после звонка сам! Рекомендую.

Очень довольна программой: запись начинается с прикосновением к клавише без задержек, удобный и простой интерфейс и качество записи довольно высокое, что самое главное. Скачайте, не пожалеете.

Очень удобное приложение, но не помешало бы для iPhone 4 увеличить производительность, а то когда жмешь на кнопку запись где то через 3 секунды начинает записывать

Если телефон поднести к уху, то приложение закрывается и запись не сохраняется!

После октябрьского обновления удалились записи. Спасибо. Накануне записал концерт ребенка в садике. Еще раз спасибо. Само приложение вытягивает деньги за любое телодвижение. Необходима возможность записанную запись высылать почтой - плати, необходима возможность активация голосом - плати от 1$-3$. И так далее. В общей сложности пока набрал нужные возможности потратился на приличную сумму. Ладно терпимо, прогеры тоже должны кушать, но когда обновлением удалили все записи тут - закипел, что и породило написать отзыв. Тем кто только планирует работать с данным приложение- взвесьте все за и против.

По сравнению с прежними диктофонами - явный прогресс, позволяет редактировать запись, вырезать нужные/ненужные куски и т.д. Русский язык автоматически загрузился, я доволен приобретением. Спасибо разработчикам.

Recording doesn’t work

This app has been so buggy since the beginning and the developers unfortunately fail to fix the bugs. I have been waiting for more than a year now - same crashing bugs I reported to them still present: - I keep losing audio memos which is incredibly frustrating. I lost so much work because of this app, I feel a fool for continuing to rely on this after the first instance when I recorded a long dictation on my Apple Watch and it simply disappeared. There is a pause button, but I just see it as a “russian roulette button” because if you pause recording and switch apps, you have a 50-50 chance that you will lose the recording you paused. - recordings on the Apple Watch remain in the “sync in progress” cue forever. I contacted the developers looking for solution and they tried, but failed to fix this. Sync has been broken for well over a year. Every memo you ever recorded remains in a “sync in progress” queue until you delete them manually, one by one. If you get too many, the Watch app gets overwhelmed and won’t sync at all. I am just writing this review now, after I lost a long dictation, recording my thoughts on my Apple Watch and at one point, the app randomly started a new recording and my long dictation was completely gone. Extremely frustrating and not really hard to solve - just implement autosave every few seconds and this will never happen. The fact that this hasn’t been done in over a year after I first reported it tells me that the developer doesn’t care about users losing their important data, so I’m done with this app. It is a beta app at best, and the developer is using you as a guinea pig to discover the fatal flaws of the app - and even then, they still don’t fix them.

This app stops recording every time I put my phone down. It picks up A LOT of background noise making it hard to hear people’s voices. It also doesn’t pick up voices more than 6 feet away. Would love to see this app have noise cancellation and mute background noise.

I have been using this app. Voice is clear. But then I found out that the “icon VOICE MEMOS” turned black. What happened?

It has always worked great for me. I’ve always had clear recordings.

I use this recording application for learning songs, and recording life stories. It’s an amazing tool!

I’ve been using this app for years and it is really a go-to for so many things. Not once have I had any issues during this time.

I use this audio memo for all my important lessons so I can re listen when ever I need to recap. I keep these lessons for many years and they are always there. Please keep this app going for us. Thank you.

Have used this for years and use it all the time to record important conversations to refer back to. I always tell the other party I am recording the call so I have a record of it.

Why does this app not send. I’ve set it up to automatically send. Many times I record a talk only to discover that it has nothing in the audio record. It shows the MB’s but plays nothing. Other times I attempt to copy it from a wav file to a m4a file and get a msg that it couldn’t do it. Why??? Very unhappy with this app.

Love this app. Most of it is reliable and well thought out. I tried the transcription, and it’s not so good, but it’s not much worse than Otter which I paid $100 for. Also better handling of fast forward, audio quality, as well as manipulating files, including exporting. When that subscription comes up for renewal, I’ll let it go and keep using AudioMemos. Maybe an AI style transcriber will turn up I can use to compliment it.

Overall pretty darn good. (Paid version) Ipad 2 with 16 gig. IOS 6.1 Sometimes crashes, however, most likely when I ask the program to do something while it is compressing a file. In my book, not an issue. Sure would like to record in mp4 format rather than Wav format. Saves the time of compression. I send the files to my clients email and 15 Meg is about it. Cheers, Charles

This app records and plays back easily + you can send the recordings from within the app.

I have been using this app for a few years now. Today, 1/27/23, I was using the app and the app failed. I was doing work that required an audio recording. When I finished the recording, I noticed that the time was only 0:31. I’m not sure of how long the recording was, but I’m guessing approximately 10 minutes. I listened to the recording and it sounded fine with the full event recorded. Later, I went to listen to it again and email a copy, I had to search for the recording. I found it in deleted recordings. I saved it and have tried numerous times to listen to it. I keep getting a message “Creating copy failed. The copy could not be correctly created. The file couldn’t be opened because there is no such file”. I hope this problem is not going to be a continuous problem. This is costing me time and money!

It use to work perfectly until a few months ago. Spent a lot of time trying to fix Now it’s glitchy and freezes and completely does not work

I use this app nearly every day to record thoughts and ideas. It’s also super useful to record meetings.

This app had it all till iOS sometime early 2022. Features used to be able to be restored after iOS updates, but variable speed playback has sadly disappeared. I use(d) this to help learn difficult music and desperately hope the feature returns before I seek another app. If it does I promise to revise to 5 stars!

This app is fantastic, picks up audio, even in crowded meetings, well. Highly recommend!

Is it possible to record via regular mic on my phone while playing sound back through my bluetooth headphones? The only way I could find to record using the mic on my phone was to set it to use internal hardware, but then when I play it back, it plays through my phone speakers. If I turn this off, it automatically records via bluetooth. It seems there should be a way to record via the internal mic, while playing it back via my bluetooth headphones. If not, please fix this. Also, voice activation isn't great. It cuts off the beginning parts of words.

Bought this app for Bluetooth recording using the iPhone video app. No longer available in the app. Very disappointed.

I have used this product for 5-6 years now and I love it!! The only thing I’d ask for is a better interface for clipping, trimming.

I depend on this app to record important meetings. Just have to be careful to make sure it keeps recording. There are times I hit Record on my iPhone and assume it's recording for an hour or two conversation. Then I come back to save and email the recording and find it somehow stopped after a few seconds and my whole conversation was missed. I don't know what happened. Somehow, something was pressed which paused or ended the recording. But I like how I can set it to record in 15-minute chunks automatically so none of the recorded files is to large to email. Each one is under 8MB or so. Very fast, competent, and polite support if I report a problem.

Was under the impression this offered the ability to record from Bluetooth. Why is that gone? Useless app for me. Want a refund.

i’m a very critical user who has tried many different audio programs and some are poor and some ate very good, but this one with its many features is outstanding. I really find it useful that you can easily append to the beginning of a recording, at the end of recording or even insert audio in the middle of a recording. Appending at the beginning is an excellent way to add to the beginning of recording when you get an idea later on and say well I should’ve added this first because it’s very important. This app can do that with no problem at all. It also has many other features some of which are distinctive to this app alone. I have been using it for years.

I got this app because it, at one time, offered Bluetooth mic support. It apparently does not anymore. There are two higher levels of subscriptions available, and there are apparently extensions available, but nowhere to find out the details of those subscriptions and what I’m getting or to find a list of extensions. What a waste. It’s also rather difficult to navigate.

Update 11/19/19 Over time the previous issues were resolved. However, for the past 6 to 8 months, several files have become corrupted and I can no longer access them. It just happened again minutes ago! I had recorded a teacher conference so that we could refer back to the recommendations the teacher made for our child. I bookmarked several items for my wife but the file no longer works. I have also had countless issues with the recording stopping on its own. I always put my phone on airplane mode which sometimes helps. Today, it recorded 7 whole seconds and then stopped. I missed everything!!!! Ugh! Update Once files are uploaded to Dropbox, they cannot be opened again by this program for further editing and all audio bookmarks are lost. Ideally users could open files on Dropbox and save changes there as well. ----- There is definitely a pronounced clicking noise when using a the audio compression, which is desirable because the .wav files are huge. Using .wav, the sound quality is good and volume is very nice. Another app I tried had unacceptably low recording volume. I consider the compression useless due to clicking noises, which appear even at max quality.

Doesn’t show up

Now it doesn’t work on iphone x. Have had this app for over 5 years. Cannot edit audio anymore. Only giving 3 stars because it has worked well in the past but definitely not now.

I used to be able to record, press done then add a name. Twice now when I do that the recording disappeared. I’ve also lost one I had named before hitting done. What’s happening???

I had to write a speech for the passing of a wonderful teacher and it was effortless to speak and record my words!! Love this app!!! Thank you to the creators and the Creator!!

iPhone app is critically flawed and shuts down for no reason. When you press record it will start recording then stop immediately and you’ll have to try again. Playback buttons must be pressed several times to work (or their active surface is way too small) The slide to delete previous recordings has the same problem. Apple Watch app works well except after recording you must press a tiny “Done” button and then it brings up the file you just recorded for review before syncing to iPhone. You must press done again to continue negating the convenience of having the app on a watch. Spend the 4.99 for Just Press Record if you need a voice memo app for anything reliable or work related. Don’t buy this one.

Very useful and user friendly. I am using since 7 years. Easy to download from free cloud synchronize.

The bluetooth feature seems to have an issue on the new version. It doesn't work in the car or earphones.

I am happy with this app. The main feature I wanted was the ability to record from the mic on my Bluetooth headset and this app does that beautifully. The one thing I wish this app did was allow me to play music through my Bluetooth headset while I record audio from the mic on my Bluetooth headset at the same time. I don’t want to record the music, though. I just want to be able to keep listening to my music while I record my audio. Do that and this would be a 5 star app for sure.

I got the paid version. Great functionality and simple even from Apple Watch. Tried many others. This one is best.

After discarding several recording apps for my Apple Watch I’ve settled on this one. All I wanted was something I could use relatively hands free to record a reminder or some random thought whilst driving or out walking. It’s recognized as a Complication and Siri brings it up easily. All I have to do is touch the big “record” button and bam! It is well worth the buck it costs and there are a bunch of extensions available if you need extras like attaching a recording to a photo etc. I don’t need any so haven’t purchased but good to have the options. I haven’t found a way for the mic icon to show on my watch face yet but Siri can find it for me. :)
